Nike's agency reached out to our creative director for help. They wanted a custom illustration to help elevate Nike's new high fashion sub-brand... and we were more than happy to oblige.
The new brand heavily referenced ancient Greece, the birthplace of Modern Athletics and 'Nike', the Greek Goddess of triumph, speed, and strength in athletic competitions. They wanted an ancient feeling illustration of the goddess to build out the brand graphics.
Their first use of the goddess design was for tennis legend, Maria Sharapova - to induct her into the hall of fame, using this illustration in a pop-up installation at the Nike House of Innovation, New York. They are expanding it's uses regularly, also having used it as part of a cross-promotion with Jannik Sinner.
